Spring Card..

Here's a spring card I made a while back for a fellow quilter.
I wanted to combine some sewing techniques with my card-making.

I pulled out my old pinking shears and used some left-over fabric from a needle-holder I had also made for her.  I played a bit with Tim Holtz' distress inks, some stickers and raided my button jar!  The yoyos became flowers and I think it turned out alright!  Below is the matching needle-holder!

Thanks for stopping by!

Bubbly Tilda!

Little Tilda Blowing Bubbles!!

As a newbie to stamping and painting, I have yet to create a card from my projects!!  Here, I've been playing with a few ideas...I think I'm a bit hesitant and just need to jump in with both feet!!
I've recently acquired some new Magnolia Stamps and will be working on these tomorrow!  What I'd really like to find is the new Bride and Groom design that I've seen on a few blogs!!

All the best!

Magnolia Ink!

I've heard that the new Magnolia Ink magazine is out!  I really look forward to picking up my copy!!

My First Post!!

Hello there!  Just thought I'd create a blog for my Magnolia creations....it's nice to have a place just for these cute little stamps!

Here are two of my first paintings...I've used Distress Inks and Stickles Stardust for accents.  This is so much fun!!!
